| My gum work explores the disposable nature of colour in our contemporary capitalist system. By employing a historical abstract expressionist approach, and possibly touching the sublime with the disposable colours enjoyed in chewing gum, the work prompts the viewer to ask him/herself about the role of colour in the products we consume.  | |||
